FTCE Middle Grades Mathematics 5-9 (025)

The FTCE Middle Grades exam in math includes about 70 questions. All of these questions are multiple-choice and are divided across 10 different competencies. These competencies each contain a different percentage of the total number of questions on the FTCE exam. Content areas are designed to test candidates’ specific mathematical skills, as well as their skills and ability to teach the field to students. For instance, test-takers will answer questions in competencies related to problem-solving, data analysis, math assessments, and instructional technology.
