FTCE Middle Grades General Science 5-9 (004)

The test for FTCE General Science 5-9 consists of approximately 100 multiple-choice questions. The questions on the Science exam of FTCE are distributed across 9 different competencies that aim to test candidates’ knowledge of major topics within science, such as concepts in matter, forces, energy, Earth and space science, life science, and more. Competencies also examine candidates’ skills for teaching science and utilizing scientific inquiry in their lesson plans.
