Californian Real Estate Broker Exam

The California Real Estate Broker License Exam is made up of 200 multiple-choice questions spread across seven topics, which test-takers are given 4 hours to complete. The first topic is Property Ownership and Land Use Controls and Valuation, making up about 15% of the exam. The second is Laws of Agency, making up 17%. The third is Property Valuation and covers 17%. Financing is fourth, covering 9%. Transfer of Property is fifth with 8%, Practice of Real Estate and Mandated Disclosures is the sixth with 25%, and the seventh is Contracts, which makes up the final 12%.
